While a mentor and coach both strive to help you grow, there are a few notable differences. A mentor is someone who has lived experience in the desired area and leverage lessons learned and real-world experience to walk a mentee through similar circumstances. A coach, on the other hand uses standard principles, research and inquisitive questioning to guide a coaches. I help my clients with a hybrid of both - leaning on my lived experiences, leadership style, professional network and certifications.
